EASTSHORE/INDEPENDENT STUDY STUDENTS

You will need to orientate one two-hour session.  You will be observing the range and driving habits of other students.  You will have two options to orientate:

  1. Attend and extra two hour session the same week as your scheduled range
  2. Attend orientation with a class.  Classes meet and orientate on the range the first Friday of each scheduled 9-day classroom session.  They meet at 2:30 on the range at AFHS.  You can check the schedule under the "9-Day Class Session" tab.

    Is it ok to attend a range orientation session before starting/completing the drivers ed class?

      It is preferred that you orient before range. Orientation must be completed before you can obtain your license.

    When will the dates for the school year be available? I've signed my daughter up for class and range sessions already...

    I too have signed up for class and range in Sept.-Oct. Just need to know orientation dates to sign up for.

      Just read that the 9 day class includes the range orientation. :)
